The Dallas Department continues to investigate the 2013 murders of 21-year-old James Johnson and 19-year-old Tadarris Reed.
On August 26, 2013, at approximately 11:10 pm, Johnson and Reed were in the 1800 block of Gallagher Street when an unknown suspect began shooting into the crowd of people with an assault rifle. Johnson and Reed were hit by the gunfire and died.
