The Dallas Police Department continues to investigate the 2005 murder of 70-year-old R.V. Johnson.
On September 12, 2005, Mr. Johnson was shot, killed, and robbed in his home in the 3900 block of Mehalia Drive. The investigation determined unknown suspects kicked open the front door of Johnson’s home, shot him in his bedroom, and then took property.
