Dallas Police
On October 10, 2022, the Dallas Police Department Public Integrity Unit initiated an investigation involving allegations of criminal misconduct of Sergeant Thomas Fry #8003, Detention Services.
The investigation determined from August 2021 to July 2022, Sgt. Fry stole three duty firearms from Southeast Patrol Division, where he was assigned at the time.
Three arrest warrants for Theft of a Firearm, a state jail felony, were issued for Fry.
On April 8, 2024, Sgt. Fry turned himself into Mesquite Police.
The investigation is ongoing and documented under case number 184539-2022.
