Dallas Police
15 pm, Dallas Police responded to the 12600 block of E. Northwest Highway.
The preliminary investigation determined Carlos Glover, 28, had been shot at the location.
Glover was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
Further investigation identified a suspect, Tyra Murrell, 25, as the person who shot Glover. Murrell was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
On May 27, 2024, at approximately 3:45 p.m., Dallas Co. Medical Examiner’s Office notified the Homicide Unit complainant Glover died from his injuries.
The Aggravated Assault charge will be dropped and upgraded to Murder. Murrell remains in the Dallas County Jail.
