25 AM officers responded to a shooting call in the 7200 block of Chaucer Place. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found a man shot in the street. DFR responded and he was transported to a local hospital where he died. The man’s identity will be confirmed by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office. This remains an ongoing investigation that will be documented under case number 065413-2024.
