Dallas Police
25 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call at the 9300 block of Skillman Street. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived they found the victim, 21-year-old Kenneth Jernigan, shot on the ground in a parking lot. A woman was also found shot in the arm inside an apartment. DFR responded and transported the woman to a local hospital in stable condition. The man died from his injuries at the scene.
There is no suspect information at this time.
This remains an ongoing investigation that will be documented under case number 020445-2024.
