Dallas Man Faces Triple Aggravated Assault Charges on Officers

00 p.m., Dallas Police officers were traveling eastbound in the 3300 block of Tom Braniff to a call for service. The preliminary investigation determined 28-year-old Demetrius Graham-Harris was traveling eastbound in the westbound lane of Tom Braniff, when he tried to pass the marked squad car, but slammed on his brakes to avoid hitting another car. The suspect’s vehicle hit the back of the marked squad car, then sped away from officers, who tried to stop the vehicle.

The suspect drove towards Love Field Airport where he rammed a security gate, trying to get into the airport’s restricted area. Graham-Harris got out of his vehicle, and ran from officers but was tased and taken into custody before he was able to make it onto airport property. Graham-Harris was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.

He will be charged with three counts of Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer and was also wanted on a Felony family violence warrant out of Dallas County.

No officers were injured in the incident.
