30 AM officers responded to a shooting call in the 4700 block of Denley Dr. The preliminary investigation determined the victim, 51-year-old Absolom Cobbs, and the suspect were having an argument when the suspect shot him. Dallas Fire Rescue responded, and the victim died from his injuries. The suspect, 45-year-old Damien Walker, was taken into custody and charged with Murder.
This remains an ongoing investigation that will be documented under case number 159638-2023.
