10 a.m., Dallas Police responded to the 5900 block of Highland Village Drive for a welfare check. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found a woman dead inside an apartment.
The woman’s identity is being withheld pending family notification. Her cause of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office but is being investigated as a homicide.
