Dallas Police
15 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a call for service in the 5100 block of Verde Valley Lane. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found 34-year-old Cody Ward, dead, inside of a residence. Further investigation determined that Ward died from homicidal violence. The suspect(s) are unknown and were gone when officers arrived.
The investigation is ongoing and will be documented under case number 0005941-2024.
