00 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 5300 block of Colonial Avenue. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived they found three men and one woman shot at the scene. The three men were taken to a local hospital and the woman died at the scene. The three male victims are expected to survive.
Soon after, Dallas Police were called for a barricaded person in the 4800 block of Botham Jean Boulevard. Further investigation determined the suspect from the homicide on Colonial Avenue, 44-year-old Larry Deckard, barricaded himself inside a business.
SWAT responded and took the suspect into custody. No injuries were reported.
Deckard was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and will be charged with Murder.
