Dallas Police
45 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 1800 block of Adelaide Drive.
The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found 65-year-old Edgar Johnson Jr. shot. Johnson died at the scene.
Further investigation identified 35-year-old Broderick Davenport as the suspect. Davenport was charged with Murder and taken to the Dallas County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing and will be documented under case number 226071-2023.
