Dallas Police
10 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a call for service in the 3500 block of Southern Oaks Boulevard.
The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found 38-year-old Victor Taylor dead at the location.
The case was initially investigated as an unexplained death.
On March 2, 2024, Dallas Police were contacted by the Medical Examiner’s Office, who determined the man had been shot. The case was reclassified as a homicide.
The investigation is ongoing and will be documented on case number 034895-2024.
