Dallas Police Investigate Homicide in the 2400 block of Kathleen Avenue.
On April 2, 2024, at about 4:00pm, Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 2400 block of Kathleen Avenue. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found 44-year-old Carlos King, shot. DFR responded and King was transported to a local hospital where he died.
Further investigation identified 27-year-old Alvaro Vasquez as the suspect. Vasquez was arrested and is charged with Murder. King and Vasquez were known to each other.
The investigation is documented under case number 052032-2024.
