Dallas Police
35 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 10300 block of Gardner Road. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived they found Byron Thompkins, 44, shot at the scene. Dallas Fire and Rescue responded and took Thompkins to a local hospital where he died.
Further investigation identified, Don Solomon, 63, as the person who shot Thompkins after an argument.
Solomon has been charged with Murder and was taken to the Dallas County Jail.
