45 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 2300 block of Nicholson Drive. The preliminary investigation determined the female victim and suspect, 29-year-old Eric Thomas, were involved in an argument that escalated when the suspect shot the victim. The victim was taken to a local hospital and died from her injuries. The suspect was taken into custody and will be charged with murder.
The investigation is ongoing at this time and documented under case number 130991-2023.
