50 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 2900 block of S. Westmoreland Road.
The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found a man shot, laying in the street.
The suspect left the location.
DFR transported the man to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The male victim is not being identified at this time, pending next of kin notification.
This investigation is ongoing and will be documented under case number 014874-2024.
