50 a.m., officers responded to a Kidnapping/Major Accident call at 1300 Murdock Road. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found a woman lying in the street. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and the woman died at the scene.
The preliminary investigation determined the suspect stole the vehicle the victim was in. The suspect sped away with the victim inside, lost control of the vehicle and hit a pole.
The suspect driver was arrested and transported to a local hospital. Charges are pending. The suspect will not be identified until he is formally charged. This is documented on case numbers 039443-2024 and 039444-2024.
