The Dallas Police Department, FBI Dallas’ Violent Crime Task Force (VCTF), and the Dallas ISD, Farmers Branch, Irving, and Coppell Police Departments, located and arrested Gregory Noble, 55, for at least 14 violent felonies committed across Dallas County on March 20, 2025, including a bank robbery and multiple armed carjackings.
On Thursday, March 20, 2025, Noble stole a vehicle from the 14500 block of Dallas Parkway in Dallas, Texas. When the victim reported the theft to the police, it was noted that a handgun was left inside the vehicle. A short time later, a bank robbery was reported in the 14800 block of Preston Road in Dallas. Dallas Police officers, Robbery Unit detectives, and members of the VCTF responded to scene and identified the suspect as Noble, a man believed to be in his 60s, and the getaway vehicle as the same one stolen just minutes before.
Noble, in the same stolen vehicle, arrived at a business in the 5000 block of Lemmon Avenue in Dallas, where he threatened employees and stole another vehicle at the business. Now in his second stolen vehicle of the day, he drove to another business in the 6100 block of Lemmon Avenue, where attempted to take another car at gunpoint. Unsuccessful, he left in the same vehicle.
Noble then arrived at a school in the 9900 block of Webb Chapel Road in Dallas and demanded a ride from victims and witness at the location. He pulled out a gun and fired into the air, at which point he took another victim’s keys and fled the location in their vehicle.
Following that incident, a crash and subsequent carjacking was reported in the 11800 block of Rosser Road in Dallas. There, Noble crashed his third stolen car into two vehicles at the intersection, and forced the victim and their child out of the car at gunpoint and fled the scene in his fourth stolen vehicle.
Shortly after, Noble abandoned the latest stolen vehicle at a business in Farmers Branch, where he stole the keys to a fifth vehicle and drove into Coppell where he unsuccessfully attempted to steal another car at gunpoint. Coppell Police officers responded to a crash involving Noble where he attempted to steal the car he just crashed into. Running from the scene, he stole a sixth vehicle from a nearby business which he abandoned in Irving, where stole a seventh vehicle.
Throughout the evening, Dallas Police and the VCTF continued to work the multiple crime scenes, coordinate with the many agencies involved, and utilize the Flock camera system to track each stolen vehicle. Noble was finally spotted in Dallas where he sped away from a traffic stop and was later found near the intersection of Singleton Boulevard and Gulden Lane. He refused to exit the vehicle, and the Dallas SWAT team responded to assist in taking him into custody.
Noble is charged with Robbery of a Business, Aggravated Robbery, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, and Evading Arrest by the Dallas Police Department. He is facing additional charges by the FBI, as well as the other law enforcement agencies who assisted with this investigation.
Noble has an extensive criminal history, including a previous conviction for bank robbery.
