Today, December 23, 2024, Police Officer Nakisha Cardwell, #11548, was arrested by the Mesquite Police Department for Driving While Intoxicated, Misdemeanor B, and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon, Misdemeanor A.
Officer Cardwell has been with the Department since July 2018 and is assigned to the South Central Patrol Division. She is on administrative leave pending the outcome of an Internal Affairs administrative investigation.
