20 am, Dallas Police responded to a hit-and-run fatal pedestrian crash in the 2800 block of W. Northwest Highway.
The preliminary investigation determined an unidentified woman and man crossed W. Northwest Highway, just east of Community Drive, not in a crosswalk. The two had just reached the center median when a white Dodge Challenger east on Northwest Highway, pictured, hit the woman. The suspect driver left the scene without stopping. The woman died at the scene, the man was not injured.
The woman’s identity will be confirmed by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The suspect’s vehicle had no license plates.
The investigation is ongoing and documented under case numbers 87891-2024 & 87892-2024.
