Dallas Police
30 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a major accident call in the 3700 block of Inwood Road.
The Dallas Police Traffic Unit also responded to investigate, but based on physical evidence, determined the incident was a shooting, not a crash.
The Homicide Unit responded and took over the investigation.
The preliminary investigation determined one of the drivers, 29-year-old Chapeera Lee, died at the scene.
Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the other driver, 32-year-old Cortez Nute, to a local hospital with minor injuries where he was treated and released.
Detectives determined Nute was responsible for the shooting and he has been charged with Murder.
