Dallas Police
The Dallas Police Department continues to investigate the 1997 murder of 47-year-old Ava “Nikki” Scruggs.
On May 12, 1997, Ms. Scruggs was killed in the 1100 block of High Hill Drive. Ms. Scruggs died from severe head trauma. She was last seen alive by a friend.
