Dallas Police
05PM, Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 2300 block of Highland Road. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived they found 36-year-old Erick Lopez, shot in the parking lot. Dallas Fire Rescue responded and took Lopez to a local hospital where he died.
There is no suspect information at this time.
The investigation is ongoing and documented under case number 047728-2024.
