Dallas Police
00am, Dallas Police responded to a call for service in the 3200 block of Reed Lane. The preliminary investigation determined the victim, 43-year-old Lakeisha Simpson, was found dead at the location. This was being investigated as an unexplained death.
On April 30, 2024, the Medical Examiner ruled Simpson died from homicidal violence and the case was assigned to the Homicide Unit.
The investigation is ongoing and documented under case number 066555-2024.
