Dallas Police
20 P.M., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 3800 block of Dixon Avenue. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived they found 18-year-old Camren Stacy, on the ground outside of a vehicle, and 18-year-old Kamari Smith-Capps, in the driver’s seat. Both men had been shot and died at the scene.
The preliminary investigation determined the men were shot while inside the vehicle in the parking lot, and the suspects ran from the scene, south on Dixon Avenue.
There is no suspect description at this time.
The investigation is ongoing and is documented under case number 046238-2024.
