00 AM officers responded to a call for service in the 1400 block of Vermont Ave. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found 42-year-old Henderson Giovonnii McCoy shot in a house. McCoy died at the scene. This remains an ongoing investigation that will be documented under case number 065999-2024.
