Dallas Police
15 p.m., Dallas police responded to a call for service in the 1400 block of Elm Street.
The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found 46-year-old Jenean Chapman, dead in an apartment.
On September 26, 2023, the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office determined Chapman’s death was a homicide.
The unexplained death investigation has been reclassified a homicide and is documented under case number 172559-2023.
