Dallas Police are asking for the public’s help in deadly hit-and-run investigation in the 3800 block of Samuell Boulevard
On November 24, 2023, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Dallas Police responded to the 3800 block of Samuell Boulevard, east of Valley Glen Drive.
The preliminary investigation determined Jose Antonio Herrera-Hernandez, 31, was walking eastbound in the 3800 block of Samuell Blvd. and was hit by a motor vehicle. Herrera-Hernandez died at the scene.
The preliminary investigation determined the suspect driver did not stop and continued eastbound on Samuell Blvd. without stopping to help the victim.
There is no suspect or suspect vehicle information at this time.
