Dallas Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Assault Suspects

The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public’s help to locate a vehicle and identify the suspects that injured a Dallas Police officer.

On December 12, 2023, at about 8:40 a.m., Dallas Police responded to the 4200 block of N. Jim Miller Road. The preliminary investigation determined the driver of a Black Dodge Challenger sped away from a traffic stop, hitting the motorcycle officer.

The officer was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries, treated and released.

The Challenger left the scene northbound on N. Jim Miller.


The vehicle is described as having faded, matte paint on the hood, blacked out taillights, a baseball cap on the front dashboard, and custom, loud tail pipes. The license plate was discovered to not be registered to the vehicle.

This investigation is ongoing and documented on case number 220346-2023.
