Dallas Police
00 pm, Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 4900 block of W. Illinois Ave. The preliminary investigation determined two suspects walked into a business and tried to go into a back room when they were stopped by the victim.
As the victim attempted to search one of the suspects, he was shot.
The suspects were locked inside the business, shot out the front door to exit, and left in a dark grey Nissan Sentra.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
The investigation is ongoing and is be documented on case number 074214-2023.
