Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District are seeking the community’s help to identify a suspect who committed an armed robbery in Northwest DC.
On Thursday, February 1, 2024, at approximately 6:30 p.m., the victim was in a business in the 1600 block of 1st Street, Northwest. As the victim was being given change, the suspect brandished a handgun and snatched the victim’s money. The suspect then fled the scene.

Anyone who can identify this suspect or has any information about this incident should take no action but call police
