Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are seeking the community’s assistance in locating a suspect who robbed a business.
On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at approximately 10:30 a.m., the suspect entered a business in the 2600 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest. The suspect jumped over the sales counter and brandished a handgun while ordering an employee to lay on the ground. The employee complied and the suspect took money from the cash register and other property then fled the scene.
