Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are searching for a robbery suspect who stole a moped in Northwest.
On Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 11:10 a.m., the victim reported while waiting for an Uber Eats order in the 1700 block of New Jersey Avenue, Northwest, the suspect approached and assaulted the victim. When the victim dropped his property, the suspect took the property and left the scene.
The suspect was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photo below:
