Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect involved in a Southeast DC shooting.
On Thursday, January 4, 2024, at approximately 4:05 p.m., the victim was driving their vehicle in the 1600 block of Butler Street, Southeast. The suspect shot at the victim’s vehicle, striking it. The victim did not report any injuries.

Anyone who has any knowledge of this incident should take no action but call police
