40 PM, Dallas Police Officers responded to a shooting call in the 1200 block of Red Bird Lane. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived they found 38-year-old Clovis Dawayne Braxton shot in a business parking lot. The victim was transported to a local hospital and died from his injuries. The unknown male suspect left the scene and ran north on University Hills Boulevard toward Ledbetter Drive. The suspect was last seen wearing a black shirt and orange Nike shorts.
