Dallas Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect in the homicide in the 8800 block of S. Polk Street.
On April 8, 2023, at about 11:10 PM Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 8800 block of S. Polk Street.
The preliminary investigation determined Andy Rangel, 24, was shot at the location by an unknown suspect. Rangel was taken to a local hospital and died from his injuries.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his mid-20s. A composite sketch of the suspect is being provided.
The suspect was last seen leaving the scene as a passenger in a 2006 or 2007 Buick Rendezvous. The driver has been described as female.
This remains an ongoing investigation that will be documented under case number 059580-2023
