Dallas Police
00 AM, Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 4700 block of S. RL Thornton Freeway. The preliminary investigation determined an adult male and teen were attempting a robbery when shot by an individual. The man and teen were transported to a local hospital where the man died from his injuries. The teen was released from the hospital and charged with aggravated robbery.
A grand jury referral will be submitted to the Dallas Co. District Attorney’s office.
The investigation is ongoing and documented under case number 086672-2023.
