Dallas Police
50 am, Dallas Police responded to a hit and run pedestrian crash in the area of 700 Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. The preliminary investigation determined 35-year-old Lydie Metsindon was walking on the Cedar Crest bridge when an unknown suspect vehicle driving northbound on Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard hit Metsindon. The driver left the scene without stopping to help the woman. Metsindon died at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing and is documented under case number 102419-2024.
