Houston police have learned a man critically injured in a crash at 1000 Retail Road about 3:55 p.m. on Sunday (April 6) has died.
The identity of the male, 25, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Lee and Officer D. Ortega reported:
The male was operating a black Yamaha motorcycle and traveling southbound on Eastfield Road when he struck the passenger side of a blue Chevrolet Silverado traveling westbound on Retail Road. Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake, where doctors pronounced him deceased on Thursday (April 10).
The male driver, 21, of the Chevrolet was not injured. He did not show signs of intoxication and was questioned and released.
The investigation is continuing.
