Dallas Police
35 PM, Dallas police responded to a call for service regarding a vehicle parked in the 2300 block of Fernwood Avenue. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found the male victim, dead, inside the vehicle.
Further investigation determined the victim was shot by an unknown suspect.
This remains an ongoing investigation that will be documented under case number 110199-2024.
The victim’s identity will be confirmed by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office.
