Homicide at 3200 DFW Turnpike

55 AM, Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 3200 block of the Dallas Fort Worth Turnpike. The preliminary investigation determined that 23-year-old Jose Hernandez Marroquin was driving eastbound on I-30 when he was shot by an unknown suspect and crashed into a pole. Dallas Fire Rescue responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he died.

This remains an ongoing investigation that will be documented under case number 134064-204.
