Dallas Police
50 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 1600 block of Grigsby Avenue. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived they found two men shot inside a car. The two men were taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
On June 27, 2023, the Dallas Co. Medical Examiner’s office notified the Homicide Unit that one victim, Marcellus D. Alexander, 23, died from his injuries on June 26, 2023. The other male victim is listed in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing and documented under case number 115231-2023.
