Dallas Police
50 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a call in the 1100 block of Hartsdale Drive. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, DFR had transported a man who had died at the location to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office.
Further investigation determined Alcides Solano, 51, got into a verbal fight with the victim, and shot him.
On June 26, 2023, an autopsy was conducted and the cause of death was classified as a homicide.
Solano will be charged with Murder, and the initial Aggravated Assault charge will be dropped.
Solano is in the Dallas County Jail.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office will assist in identifying the victim.
