Dallas Police
05 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 1200 block of E. Red Bird Lane. When officers arrived, they discovered the victim, a 24-year-old man, with shot multiple times. Dallas Fire and Rescue transported the man to a local hospital, where he died. The preliminary investigation identified a suspect, Damion Dansby, 24, and determined Dansby shot the victim after a fight.
An arrest warrant has been obtained for Dansby on a Murder charge. The investigation is continuing, and additional charges may be filed as a result of the ongoing investigation. This case is documented under #026707-2023.
