Dallas Police
10 AM, Dallas police responded to a disturbance armed encounter call in the 9500 block of Royal Lane. The preliminary investigation determined that when officers arrived, they found 47-year-old Unetria Williams shot inside a home.
Williams died at the scene.
The suspect and the victim were known to each other.
Further investigation identified a suspect, Demarcus Gates, 40, as the suspect who shot and killed Williams.
Gates was arrested and charged with murder.
