Tampa Police
Tampa Police responded to the report of a shooting in the 800 block of E. Yukon St just after 6:00 pm Tuesday evening. Officers arrived to find an adult black male in his late 20’s, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
The suspect was described as a black male in his late 50’s-early 60’s, approximately 6’3″, 150 pounds with graying hair. The suspect was seen riding a bicycle as he fled east from the shooting.
Although early in the investigation, preliminary information suggests that both parties were known to each other and that this was not a random act.
Detectives are currently gathering evidence and working to develop leads that will aid in the swift identification and arrest of the suspect in this case.
