Dallas Police
05 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 1400 block of Main Street. The preliminary investigation determined that one person, later identified as Anthony Egeonu, 39, had been shot by an unknown suspect. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim to the hospital, where he died. Two juvenile suspects are in custody. Their names will not be released due to their age. This is an ongoing investigation, documented under case number 010993-2025.
