Dallas Police
45 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 300 block of E. Ledbetter Drive. The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived they found two men shot inside the location. One man, Estevan Narvaez Jr. died at the scene. The second man was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
The preliminary investigation determined the location is an illegal gambling location. At least two suspects, walked into the location and demanded property from the people inside, at one point firing and hitting Narvaez, then ran from the scene.
There is no suspect description at this time.
The investigation is ongoing and documented under case number 113457-2024.
