Dallas Police
10 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 4900 block of Gaston Avenue.
The preliminary investigation determined when officers arrived, they found a man, Taikian Brooks, 35, shot at the location.
Brooks was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injury.
This investigation is ongoing and is documented on case number 014864-2024.
